once you're very good at dreamrecall, and you can keep it for a long while I dont think its neccesary to keep an extensive dream journal for every dream, only the ones that are special to you. The point is to increase your awereness on how dreams work and to discover dreamsigns, and to remember lucid ones!!
These two have both provided good advice. Record everything you can think of--no matter how inane or seemingly insignificant--while developing your dream recall. After you've become more proficient at remembering your dreams, you can start focusing more on key elements and especially dream signs, etc.[/b]
