Hi everybody!
I'm new here, and don't have alot of experience lucid dreaming. I found this site months ago and have since developed enough dream recall ability to remember 2-4 dreams a night. I've only had a lucid dream once. And now that I have nothing to do until I go back to school in the fall, I figured now would be a great time to learn more about this because it really interests me! Oh, and I first started becoming interested in lucid dreaming after playing the game NiGHTS on the Sega Saturn :D.
My lucid dream was during a nap in the middle of the day:
I was walking up the stairs in my house towards my room, when I saw my sister's door was open a crack. I could see her sitting on her bed reading a book, and I continued to walk into my room. After I was in my room, I realized that she was out of town that day, so she couldn't be home. I can't even explain how exciting it was. All in one second, I said "I'm dreaming!" and became so excited I couldn't stop myself from screaming at the top of my lungs. My sister walked into my room at the exact same time also. Except when I tried to scream no sound came out. And the excitement was too much and I woke up on the couch. Except it was a false awakening because I opened my eyes to realize the entire room was a mirror image of reality. So I tried to stay calm as I closed my eyes again, so I wouldn't wake myself up. But when I opened them again, I was awake for real.
I've never felt so excited in my life as I did in that dream!

Welcome to the forum! :welcome: Glad to have you aboard!
Sounds like you've got an excellent start! Your dream recall is brilliant. Have you been keeping a dream journal? If not, I highly recommend starting one. It will help you recognize patterns and dreamsigns to help you become lucid more often.
That's an exciting lucid experience. Was it your first LD? Anyway, please feel free to ask questions - the community here is full of friendly and knowledgeable people.
Good luck and have fun! :)

Hey there and welcome to the forum!!
That is an excellent start to have a LD!! Like Burns said, you should keep a DJ and track all of the LDs and NonLDs you have, so you can get better. Also, looking at the tutorials might help you even more as well!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Hello and welcome JEMSiC!
Have you started to do reality checks yet? They can be very useful in helping to give you an LD.
