Some Advice?
Lately I've been recalling my dreams pretty well, and I've realised that when I'm in a dream I usually accept changes rather than question them. I haven't experienced a lucid dream before (at least none that I remember), so if I'm to start trying I need to find a way to make myself question everything rather than accept it. Standard reality checks don't seem to be doing it. And tips/advice?

Whenever you do the reality check, look around you and identify anything that you would not expect to find there, and question why it is there. If you can't come up with an answer, then you may be in a dream. Also, think of what you were doing in the last few minutes and how you got to your current situation. If you can't think of an answer then you are porbably dreaming.
For example, I saw a pink inflatable chair in the hallway when I went to get breakfast. I knew this was not something you normally see everyday, so I thought about what I was doing in the last few minutes 'I was reading a book in bed'. Then I question where the chair came from 'It is my sister's chair which I inflated last night'. I did a reality check along with this and came to the conclusion that I was awake.
After a while you get used to doing this, and it becomes almost instictive to question any wierd stuff that goes on around you.

Welcome to the forum, Ridley! :D
Have you been keeping a dream journal with all the dreams you are able to recall? If not, it will help you tremendously in picking out dreamsigns to help you become lucid.
Personally, I don't have a lot of luck with RCs - I just forget to do them in a dream. Dreamsigns seem to work better for me - I realize I'm seeing a dreamsign of mine, and then think I must be dreaming.
Different techniques work differently for everyone. So if reality checks aren't doing it for you, try a different technique and see how you do. The tutorials list some good techniques.
Also keep in mind that some people need to practice these techniques for several months before actually having an LD. So, if you've only been trying something for a few days, you'll need to be patient and give it more time.
Good luck! :)
