Hello!
Well, it's nice to be here. I've been doing Lucid Dreaming for quite a few months now, ever since me friend suggested I try OBE's. Haven't gotten any OBE's, (unless you count very realistic and deep LD's as OBE's), but got a lot of lucid dreams.
I think it's been one of the greatest discoveries of my life. It's freakin fun in all aspects. Right now, I'm writing a small book with fantasy content, and I use my LD's as simulation for various events. I fight alongside my characters, talk to them to find out more about them, etc.
Fighting on the back of a polar bear in the middle of a vast snow field with an army of bears behind you is a unique experience. Artillery hitting left and right, arrows and fire coming from behind and above, and you have a huge, glittering sword and cut down the enemy... *drool*. :-P
I'm getting more and more convinced you can use it for just about anything. It even helped me remember where I lost my keys. I even spoke to family members who live far away. Feels absolutely realistic, no different than in real life.
I got enough ideas to try out for the next ten years. :D
Anyhow, this seems a very nice community, and I look forward to being a part of it. :)
PS: Lucid Dream DBZ fights rock! Same with Jedi duels!
