Hello! I tried to LD last night but it didn't work.
Hi,
Yesterday after reading loads about lucid dreamiing I decided it would be fun to turn 20 minute naps into skydiving out of planes sort of things.
So I read up alot on this forum and then decided to try the WBTB technique, and also I saw some 61 point in body thing so i would try that too. So then i got into bed and was all nice and comfortable, and i started doing those point thingies, making sure my alarm clock was set 5 hours ahead. Once i got around 1/4 of the way through, i remember just saying "wow this is what sleepnumber beds feel like" and just going into a state of parylization. Also my breathing felt heavy and my heart rate fast. Then I decided that having some hot super star every night was not worth as much as my life, so..
I got up with no difficulty and everything felt fine..
Then anyways when my alarm clock went off, I.. turn it off and didn't bother to get up.
Went to sleep and now i remember, its written on a peice of paper, that "had dream. native american wanted me to put on necklace, did something with cutting his head off and putting it back on for the necklace to fit".
thats on my peice of paper called my DreamPaper, the thing in quotes.
Oh well i will keep trying.
I was reading up on the FILD technique, do you guys think i should try this tonight or continue with WBTB? i dont really want to have to wake up every 5 hours, this would disturb me.

You wrote this while you were sleeping and found it when you woke up? Or you saw this in a dream?

I agree that waking up every few hours is aggravating - I don't do it either. Sometimes if I have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I'll do a WBTB, but I don't wake up purposely to do it.
I recommend trying a bunch of different techniques and find what works better for you. Keep in mind that you may need to try a technique several times to really get a good idea if it's a good induction technique for you - you can't get an accurate assumption by only trying things once. Keep us updating on your progress!
