Hi there.

im obviously a newbie here.
I've been dabbling in spirituality for awhile now. more philosophy than anything else.
i find the idea of being able to control your dreams fascinating.
I think i've had a single lucid dream, however, as soon as i was aware, i woke up.
i didnt think much of it until i came upon this site.

I have some questions about it though:
Is it at any time dangerous?
can i contact others through dreams? i mean if they are in dream.
and is it possible to make contact with a lost loved one?

Hey there, a WILD is a Wake Induced Lucid Dream. Go to the tutorials link I PMed you, to find out more.

Lucid dreaming isn't dangerous - lucidity is only your awareness that you're dreaming. I found a cool thread about the possible dangers of dreaming that you might be interested in.

As far as contacting others during a dream, I believe that's called dream sharing, but I'm afraid I can't help you in that department. Visit the Beyond Dreaming forum to find more information.
