New here and a few questions...

HELLO!!! I just registered about 5 minutes ago after reading all the great responses people get from questions! Great community!!

First of all I was just wondering how to get better dream recall
(tried the dream diary, didnt work) and what does recall do for your LD ability?

Secondly, last night, I was having all kinds of crazy dreams, and I remebered all of them VERY clearly. Just wondering why on that particular night I was so dreamly active?

      Welcome to the forums!

First, Dream Jiurnal is the best way. Also, when you wake up in the morning, stay comeletly still and try to remember youd dreams. you have better recall that way.

Second, you probably just had a good night for dreaming. That's just my opinion though.

Maybe you remembered the dreams because of your use of the dream journal. I've found that from keeping my journal, dreams seems to get longer and longer when I write them in the morning. Before I would have only half a page, but now I run onto 1 or more.

One tip: even if you don't remember your dream first, you can always get up and stop thinking of that. Sometimes, I can't recall my dreams while lying in bead and concentrating. But when I get up and start makin breakfast, "Oh!", I remember it and run right back to my journal.

Keeping a dream journal will also help clue you in on common dreamthemes, signs, and patterns - which you can use to your advantage to gain lucidity. You can develop reality checks around common dreamsigns to increase your chances of the reality check working and becoming lucid.

So keep up the good work with your dream journal!
