Just saying HI and, any tips?

Hello everyone I just joined this site the other day after randomly stumbling apon a referal to Lucid Dreaming on another site that I frequent often, and it sounded very interesting, and I eventually was led here. It sounds like it could be lots of fun so im willing to make a big effort to try and get this amazing skill down under my belt. Any tips that you all could have im sure would greatly increase my dream recall or ability to go lucid, and i'd really appreciate it.
      Thanks,

      -DarthDallas

PS - I already began starting a dream journal and put in my first entry this morning. It was pretty hazey and vague and i couldnt remember much of it, but i wrote down what i did remember. In everyone elses experience, does your recall improve over time?

      Welcome to the forum!

To answer you question about recall, yes - it does get better with time. Especially after continuing to keep a dream journal. It'll train your mind to remember more dreams, plus you can easily recognize patterns and common dreamsigns that will help you to become lucid.

Other than starting a dream journal, the best places to start would be reading through the tutorials, and reading some LD-related material before bed. If you're interested in books, you should check out Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge. This is a must-read for anyone interested in LDing. And it's great to read before bed.

Please feel free to post any questions or experiences you may have. Good luck and have fun!
