became lucid! Identified dream sign

Hey,

I went to bed, then had a non-LD: I was walking down the street carrying bags full of groceries, but the bags were in the air for some reason, so I tried hard to bring my arm down but it didn't work. "Why is it so hard to bring it down?" I thought to myself... that's when I also though "I must be dreaming" and before you know it, everything disappeared and I was flying, for like 3 seconds and then I woke up.

But the thing is, a) I don't see how I was able to LD so early in my sleep (11pm), and B) why was I flying when I didnt' think about flying? I wanted to continue the dream!

P.S. some of you have pictures on the left side of your post. How do you get that?

you said in the topic that you indentified your dreamsign...what was it??

...sometimes, just because you know you are dreaming, deosnt mean you have control over it...it sounded as if gravity was already being funny with the bags, and regardless of whether or not you had realized you were dreaming, you still might have started to fly...ive had plenty of dreams where i know im dreaming, but cant even really control my own self...the dream just continues as normal...

...i get the same thing about the fast LDs...i really dunno whats up with that...never really bothered my that much...

and P.S. you only get a cool picture under your name if you're totally cool like me

I dont know about your dream, it sounds wierd, but to get the picture under your name:

when you log in click on the profile link from the silver bar under the logo. There will be a select avatar option in there.

Humm I didn't really see a dream sign there unless you have dreams often about floating grocery bags!
