LDing could tire me out?
First, hello to everyone of the community. I am a newbie and I want to learn how to LD.
I've read about lucid dreaming for the first time now on the site and I felt curious about it.
But I have a question first. LD is more tiring than a normal sleep or is it the same? I remember I had once a lucid dream and I woke up mentally exhausted. Is that normal or it was how I "lived" my dream that actually tired me out?
Thanks in advance.
PS: Please excuse me for my English... I know it is awful :)

Hey there, and welcome! :D
I think this is one of those things that is different for each person. Some people report feeling more refreshed and invigorated after a good lucid dream, others do say that they feel more tired, as if they haven't really slept. And indeed, it may depend on the things that happen in your dream.
Personally, I haven't noticed much difference one way or the other, although having a good lucid dream puts me in such a good mood that I generally feel better the next day.

Yeah, same here, I actually feel better, as if I've caught up on some sleep. It makes me feel good. I guess it just comes down to who the person is, because lucid dreaming isn't the same for everybody.
