20 or more checks fail...

I dreamt i was in a huge field much like the windows professional desktop (proboly identical considering i got it that day), but i stood there, wondering if i was in a dream, not wondering how i got to the feild, i thought if i jumped and if i dropped i would feel my legs hittin the ground, but when i jumped and touched the ground, i thought i felt my legs hit the ground.......so i walked on, constantly checking everything i could think of (looking at sun hurt eyes, rolling down hill into rocks hurt, trying to turn stuff into stuff... i managed to turn a truck into a catapillar, but it appeared natural,and many more things) anyone have any ideas, to succesfully find a sign to notice its a dream?

Sometimes, as was your case when you did your reality checks, your expectations get in the way. If you really thought you could not fly, then you would have fallen. If you expected the sun to hurt you eyes, it will.

Next time, try really hard to believe that your reality check will work.

As seeker said, if you don't believe they will work, they probably won't. You are making good progress, the fact that you were questioning reality while you were dreaming tells that you are on your way. Keep it up!

I agree. There is a stage which many go through when they almost recognize that they are dreaming or feel that something is off.
