Hello everyone, my name is Raymond. I just heard of lucid dreaming yesterday & this topic intriuges me very much. I have always tried to sleep as little as possible because I thought life was short, why waste it on sleep? However a girl I've been talking to online told me about it & I've started my dream journal last night because I never remember my dreams unless they are very traumatic. I want to dive into this head first an become an expert on this activity. So thats a little about me and why I'm here, everyone have a good day.

I used to feel the same way. It is almost unfortunate that I learned to do this, for I have spent many hours too many sleeping. However, I don't regret it. If I fail at having a lucid dream, I sometimes feel bad that I slept in so late, but as long as I have a lucid dream it was worth it. I would not give up my experiences in lucid dreaming. It's an absolutely amazing experience.

Well, lets once again stress this: Don't sleep your life away. Don't sleep 15 hours (my actual sleeping record) a day.
I say, sleep maximum 10 hours a day and minimum 6. You can ofcourse sleep 12 hours one day, but not every day.

i don't think i've slept 10 hours in a day my entire life. once my friends bet me i couldn't stay awake 100 hours. i colapsed at 90 something, it wasn't pretty.
