Yes, the spazz extraordinare has returned!

Okay, so I have never really been here before, and I have to do that in order to return...but...

Alright, gah, screw it. ANYWAY!

I'm freshly seventeen, having had my loverly birthday party late last month, and having recieved clothes (again) but hey, I needed them this time, so neh. Not that I complain about it. Nope, I never complain. (*lies through teeth*) But I do enjoy surfing the net, and that is gow I stumbled upon this little site. I am something of an underdog, in real life. But a cheerful stomped on puppy nontheless. BUT....I do tend to try to use lucid dreaming as a sort of comfort food, while still maintaining a firm grasp on reality, through realizing that "Hey, it could be worse." And yes, it can. I could be one of those popular people in ten years. *shudders*

Anywhoo, normally I would have concocted a better though out and more organized introduction, but seeing as I am a caffienated, I quite frankly, don't give a damn. But you love me anyway.

I'm only new here, and haven't read many other posts so i don't know how you really compare to everyone else who posts here. but please.. I don't believe you even know what a lucid dream is.

Lookie here, doll. All I have to say to you, is that I refuse to have a battle of wits against an unarmed opponent.

Anyhow, to the rest of you who were kind enough to grace me with a sensible and intelligent reply, thanks&#33; I hope my stay here is spiffy, and a learning experience&#33; I am already somewhat familiar with the likes of Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection, though I have never really tried practising them, due to my cautious and slightly skeptical nature. But when I realized what a lucid dream was, I remembered being able to control my dreams to some extent as a child, but apparently, I forgot I had the ability at some point, and then was sentenced to spend a good chunk of the rest of my life being chased by clowns with chainsaws, praying the paralyzing fear would wake me up. And it did. Too bad I almost always hit my head on the top bunk.

i had very rare ludic dreams which sucked, but i also had NO NIGHTMARES XD so no broken forehead for me XD w00t.

hope you can attain lucidity soon XD (Im still haviung trouble remembeing my dreams)

You are new, yes? Then please, out of respect, decency and common courtesy, please think and read the forums before posting. You don&#39;t have any right to criticise anyone here if you are uninformed. You also aren&#39;t contributing to the discussion, so please, if you don&#39;t have anything constructive to contribute, shut the hell up.

This is a newbie section. Therefore, it is understandable that the people posting here are inexperienced in lucid dream. We are here to help these people along.

In any case, most people have this ability as a child and then lose it. I did at least.

And by all means be as skeptical as you want to be. I don&#39;t believe anything here that a) has substantial scientific proof and/or b) have experienced at least partially myself. But you are going to need to practice to get proficient at it, so read up about it and give it a go before you dismiss it in its entirety.
