Hey everybody,
glad to be on this site. I started gathering info about LD since two weeks ago and I even bought a how-to book called "Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge Ph. D. and it really is interesting what he discovered! I haven't been lucid, at least I don't remember. This is why I have a barrier:
I have no idea what it feels like to be lucid. For that matter when I dream (and I DO remember it) I always feel like I experienced the dream somewhat behind myself or some other character. A weird sensation and my dreams are mostly grim but me or my character (whatever it is) doesn't seem bothered by it.
I hope to hear from the community soon!

Hello Rayn0rrr! I myself just joined and attempted recall for my first time last night. Talking to other members, I've heard that Lucid dreams feel EXACTLY like real life except that you can do amazing things, such as fly, or stick your finger through your hand. I'm quite eager to experience my firist drim and I'm sure you are too! I think different people experience dreams slightly differently. My poor uncle doesn't dream images, or colour. When dreaming he only hears and feels, it's quite odd. If you are experiencing your dreams behind another character perhaps becoming Lucid will give you control of that character. wouldn't that be something neat to explore!
