Hi, Im Steve, 15 years old and I live in the Netherlands. I knew about LDing and this site a year ago but I totally forgot about it. Now, I had a dream last night and it was an LD and it immediately reminded me of how cool it was and of this site. But I have a problem, I can't seem to remind myself to do a reality check every half hour, how do you guys remind yourself of doing them? thanks in advance :)
usually I don't do it at set intervals, I do it
1) whenever I remember to
2) whenever something awesome happens
3) before I goto the bathroom
its good to RC before you use the restroom for obvoius reasons :(

Well, the classic method is to have a watch with a chime on every hour, and then do an RC evey chime.
Write the words RC on your hand with a permanent marker. Every time you look at your hands, you will be reminded to do a reality check.

Just think about Lucid Dreaming all the time the first couple of days, make sure you think about RCs a lot by just browsing LD forums.. thinking about LDs, doing RCs at random times a lot.
Then after a while, at certain situations you just do an RC: I do about 10 RCs p/ day, but not because I have reminded myself to do one every <x> hours. ;) I just did a lot in the beginning and now in dream-like situations I do RCs. :)
Welkom op DV trouwens, en als je nog vragen hebt ofzo.. PM me maar ;) Ik heb geen LDs gehad, maar ik heb 8 maanden lang informatie in m'n hoofd gepropt.. Ik weet meer dan de meeste mensen hier denk ik :P
