hey all!
how ya doing?
my names Mikey and i recently became interested in lucid dreaming after parttaking in some psychoactive materials and viewing the movie Wakinglife.
my questionn is, where exactly should one start?
i ALMOST lucid dreamt last nite, i was sleeping and i said "im dreaming" and as soon as i said that, i woke up lol
the full shabame on howta achieve such a wonderful technique would be much appreciated!

Lucidity 101
Here are the quick steps to lucid success IMO. You should follow them in order of appearance.
1. Good dream recall. Obtain this by keeping a dream journal. Write down anything and everything you remember dreaming about each night in a safe place. Process is usually 1-3 weeks depending on your natural dream recall abilities.
2. Recognition. Be able to remember at least one, long, dream per night every night before you attempt this step. Obtain recognition through popular methods like reality checks, MILD, or WILD. Read up on those topics in the tutorials or the main site of Dreamviews for detailed info on those. Process usually takes a few weeks to a few months. Again, depending on your naturally abilities.
3. Lucidity. This is when you are able to recognize when you are in a dream. This is the easiest as well as the funnest step. When you reach low-level lucidity, you are home-free. All you need now is experience to reach the higher levels of control.
This is just a short 3-step overview. Reading other sources would be a lot better. :)
