1st Ld (i Think) Whoooooooooooooo

I am in college as of yesterday and i need my sleep, so i didnt set my alarm clock for a WBTB. I did, however, wake up at 5:45 naturally from trying so many WBTBs, so i decided, hey,what the hell, i"ll WILD. After that my memory goes blank, but then i "woke up" in a grey hall. I immediately said to myself that i was dreaming, and i closed my eyes and waved my arm out in front of me (as to wipe away the current scenery and create a new one). Then everything went blank. What i want to know is which method did i correctly use to get this "LD", considering i was aware from the very first moment that i was dreaming. I dont think is was a successful WILD (hence i blanked out before the LD, without any SP or HI)

Welcome to DV and congratulations on your first LD :)

I'm guessing that you did a bit of WBTB method with a MILD.
I don't think you have to experience HI to have a successful LD.

the key to having a lucid dream is knowing you are dreaming. You told yourself you were dreaming, so you recognised it, therefore you were lucid.
Lucidity isn't necessarily about control, something i've taken a long time to learn, it's simply about knowing you were dreaming.

It does sounds like a combination of WILD and WBTB.
