Rc: Looking At The Time Or Just Reading Some Text?

My last dream I was so close to have my expected LD! I'm furious now! (hehehe)

So I'm doing RCs during the day (Looking at the time (digital clock, reading something and the one that I hold my nose)...
but in this dream I've done the Looking to a text Reality Check and when I looked back, the text was different, but not so different (only some words were missing).

So in your opnion, what is the best RC??... When I had my first LD I used the clock to attain lucidity... and now, the text one didn't work! :roll:

Hello Henrique, welcome to the Forum. :)

What is most often overlooked about reality checks is the realism and approach to doing it rather than what one actually uses for a RC.
What I mean by this is;
When you are doing a reality check. What are you doing? Can you Honestly say you are indeed questioning reality or just going through the motions.
It takes a conscious effort to parallel realities and make it real.

there is no real "best" RC some people find different things work differently for them.

Thats too true! I find that the nose plug reality check works best (for me), but you might find a lightswitch, a clock, text, putting your finger through your hand (etc) better.

I personally look at the palm of my hand, close it, and open it again... If there is a coin I know I'm dreaming and the fun can begin :evil:

But that's just my way of doing it, I'm sure there is easier ways..

I usually look at two things in my RCs.
