hello.
I started reading this board yesterday and I've found it very interesting. I started a dream journal once before, but I failed to keep it up for long, though I noted enhanced recall.
I'm hoping to work back into it. I want to enhance my mind and self.
I think I just need a bit of motivation, perhaps some tips or just a little encouragement.
I'm wanting to delve deeper into my dreams and more. I'm currenlty being discouraged by my schedule. I work the standard 9-5 which generally sees me dragging out of bed barely making it to work on time. I also play in a band and that throws my schedule off on many nights.
Basically, does anyone have any words of wisdom to pass onto a budding Dream-on-the-Go?
Thanks.

Hey SnoMan! Welcome to the forum :D Great avatar, btw!
I always have the best LDs on mornings that I can sleep in. Usually they are accidental WBTB's, where the cats will wake me up, then I'll fall back to sleep and have an LD. So maybe if you get a day to sleep in, try to take advantage of it.
Also - keep up your dream journal! Not only will it enhance your recall (you may be having LDs and not even remember them!), but it will make you more aware of dreaming and LDing in general.
MILD is also a good technique to try - no deviating sleep schedules needed for this one.
Good luck and have fun! :D

Thanks for the words burns.
I felt a since of accomplishment this morning while recalling a dream that I woke from. It involved me going to a Guitar Center(kinda cool since there aren't any in my state) and doing some various things in there. Then upon reaching "the end" of the Guitar Center, I turned and began to walk out. Now is when I noticed that this GC was apparently part grocery store, or something. What I mainly recall from that was going to one of the shelves and picking up a box of cereal. However, this wasn't a typical box of cereal. Looking back, I would consider it "fun sized." It would have held perhaps two or three tables spoons of cereal. The dream went on after that, but after waking up and looking back, I thought that the "fun sized cereal" would have been a perfect reality snap for LD.
I felt it was a step in the right direction for me at least :content:
Oh yeah...
The avatar just felt too appropriate for this forum. I love that pic.
