Hi! First of all I want apologize for my bad English. I am new here, and I also saw first lucid dream last night, but it was quite strange. I saw one building, I saw it very clear, I looked around me, but I don’t why, but I don’t move, I feel sure that it's dream, so, to verify that, I made some reality tests, as trying to create objects, but nothing works, then I started to believe that it is reality and thinked, if I will open my eyes I will wake up, so I closed them and opened again, and noting changes, that building was still there, so I truly believed that it's reality and I lost my control. And when I wake up in real life I realized that it was lucid dream... damned! And I don't know why I believed, that it was reality when I was knowing that it was only dream, and why I could not give question to my self: that I fall in sleep at night but saw that all when it is day?

Hi there, BlaMo :) Welcome to the forum. And for the record, no need to apologize for your English - it was great!
Yep, you definitely had a LD, even if it didn't last very long. Don't worry though, the more you do it, the easier it will be. Not all LDs will be long or very vivid - even for experienced LDers. You get some good, and some not so good. Just keep practicing and it'll get better.
Have you checked out the tutorials yet? If not, that's a great place to start. Also, starting a dream journal is strongly recommended as well - and what better time to start than to record your first lucid dream?! :D
Please feel free to post any other questions you may have. Good luck and have fun! :D

Thanks for tutorials :)
I'm really interested with WILD technique, something like that I practised earlier, but I don't knew that doing something like that I could reach Lucid Dream :)
And I have questions... how long, average; person must concentrate using WILD technique to fall in LD? And which is bestest sleeping position to do this, or it makes no difference.
And I was wondering, if I am in LD, why I can't stay there for all night and losing control over it? OK I understand, that with practise I will reach that level, but why not now at the beginning?

Welcome BlaMo, and congratulations on your first LD.
You'll find that the "best" method is whatever works for you. Try the different techniques on this site and elsewhere, and see what fits you best. Don't worry about your LDs being short and not having control over them; that can always improve with time and practice. Have to walk before you can run marathons, right? :)
Good luck!

Yea those where really nice feelings when you are in LD :)
But mhh.. I can't understand one thing, is it so important to sleep 5-6h to fall in LD, it is possible to see lucid dream at once I go in bed. For example, can I go to sleep at 11 pm than using WILD and after about 1 h I would saw LD. Or it's impossible to see LD without sleeping those 6h.
