Hello, I'm new to the forum. I got started with LDing almost 15 years ago in college when I noticed a copy of Stephen LaBerge's book on a roommate's shelf. Through school and the years after, I managed to have about a hundred LDs (with a personal record of 15 in one month). Then career and all the other trappings of Real Life came along, and the LDs declined. Thankfully, recent changes to the Real Life have given me more time (and much less stress) to start practicing again and get those LDing muscles back into shape.
I think the greatest benefit of this site for me is simply to have a community of like-minded folks to talk to. There weren't any online LDing forums back in '92 (or much of anything online, for that matter, ). Trying to talk about this with friends and family just resulted in glazed eyes and polite "uh-huhs", so I'm looking forward to learning from and sharing with this community.
Pleasant LDs!

Welcome, oneironut.
Yeah, it's really nice to have this "community of like-minded folks to talk to". They are very supportive and motivational.
Sounds like you have had some great experiences LDing in the past. :goodjob2: . Good luck in getting back up to that level again. You've come to the right place.

Thanks for the welcome Twoshadows. Don't be fooled by my LD numbers. They've all been so short, if somebody tried to make a movie from them they'd barely have enough footage for the trailer. :bigteeth:
