Hey all, I've known about Lucid Dreaming for a while, but never really pursued it actively. I just thought i'd come here to find more information.
Some basic Details about myself:
Age - 17
Sex - M
Location - USA
I chose my username because i've always had an intrest in latin, and this was the first phrase my teacher taught me, so I thought it would be appropriate. Its literal meaning is 'hidden god', or 'god hidden from the mind'.
Anyway, I hope to learn more as I go.

Hey there DA. So, have any one lucid dream that sticks to your mind?
-
Hey everyone, thanks for the welcome.
I haven't had any great Lucid Dreams, most of my mine lack control. I have become pretty effeciant at 'Dream Incubating' though, so I have some kind of control there. But I would really prefer the Absolute Control that being Lucid Offers, but I have yet to really achieve anything close to that.
I guess the Dream that stands out the most with me would have to be my first Lucid, in which I was just amazed at how clear everything was, and at how vivid and realistic it could be. Before that I never realized how great it could be.
I spent most of the dream talking to Dream Characters about various subjects. Some of the conversations made no sense, such as one conversation about how to properly shave your computers hair if it were to grow some.
Alot of my conversations were pretty funny actually, but the one I recall most clearly would have to be the one in which I began to ask questions about myself, and the dream characters would answer with almost 100% accuracy. It was then I realized I could use dreams to learn about myself in ways I never could before.
Since then, and since I lack much control, I've just been experimenting with various Dream Characters and seeking their help with Dream Control problems, and I have had a little success (Its how I learned to Dream Incubate), but not as much as I would prefer.
Anyway, I hope I can become a Valued part of this community, as I feel there is much I can offer in the way of advice, and once people get to know me, they find I can be a fun and understanding person. I also hope everyone here is as welcoming as you guys. I've been to my fair share of forums with abusive members that don't really like the newbies, but so far from what i've seen, you guys are just about the opposite of that.
I hope to see you guys around, im sure I'll be posting alot more when I get some more free time (Christmas Break most likely), but with school and homework, its not the easiest thing to do.
