I have been practicing LD and dream recall for about 2 weeks now. I also have been trying to RC during the day hoping this will help my do it during dreaming. My dream recall is getting better and I have already had 1 LD and a kind of semi LD.
During my dreams I have begun to RC which is great but even if I check and it shows that im dreaming I find myself ignoring the RC's like last night for example I had a false awakening and I checked the time which was 9.43am then I checked again and it was around 2.00 am but I just carried on as normal as if I just miss read the time. I relised when I woke up and it was infact 7.40am and that I had been dreaming all along. Dam its annoying ha ha :) this has happened a few times now.
Does anyone know if there is a way to stop myself just accepting everything I see as real?

That's one of the hardest things to overcome when you are learning to lucid dream...
I think the only advice i can really offer you is keep practising. Youre doing all the right things, and you've had one lucid dream already, so just tell yourself that you can do it.

Hmm you could do more than one RC. If your normal one is to check your clock, then add another one - try holding your nose and breathing, or putting your finger through your hand. I think theres a whole tutorial about them. And it also helps to analyse everything around you in your head.
