Hi.
I am a brand new member. A long time ago-prob about 20 years, OMNI magazine had an article about lucid dreaming. I thought it was a bunch of crap. Then I noticed that when I took one of those B vitamins, I remembered my dreams, and they were VERY vivid. This is completely unusual for me. My dreams have always been in dark sepia tones, with very cheap lighting and no sound.
Recently, My older sister (I'm 42 she is 46) told me that she started taking B-12 shots and it made her feel much younger. I bought the vite pills, B-12, 500 mcg. My GOD! DREAMS!!! Holy snappin' weasle brains, Vern!! ANd yes, I feel more alert.
I WILL make them lucid, and within them, I will claim Elle McPherson as my own.

Welcome to the forum :)
I don't know a whole lot about lucid aids such as B vitamins, but remember, you CAN have too much of a good thing. Don't overdo it on the B vitamins. Visit the Lucid Aids forum and the Pharmacy tutorial for more information.
Good luck and have fun!

Hiya, welcome Big Spider Beck! (love the username BTW)
I use B12 and B6 reasonably frequently. A few times a month, maybe once a week. So, I feel obliged to give a warning:
Be CAREFUL using single-vitamin supplements on a regular basis. If you pick up a bottle of B12 or B6 pills, EACH pill will contain maybe a fifty to a hundred times the reccomended daily intake. If taken daily over a few weeks, this won't do you harm. If taken infrequently for an indefinite period of time, for instance, once a week over many years, this won;'t hurt you. BUT if you take large doses of B6 or B12 daily for long periods of time, this can cause you neurological damage which may be irreversible.
If you want to take supplements daily, take multivitamin pills rather than single vitamin pills. Multivitamin pills contain larger doses of each vitamin than the reccomended daily, BUT not significantly higher. They contain much lower concentrations than single-vitamin supplements. It's safe to take multivitamins over a long period of time. But it's NOT safe to do the same wioth single-vitamin supplements like B12.

Hey Spider,
Welcome to the forum, great to see your enthusiasm! :yumdumdoodledum:
Given your age, I'm confident that you're mature enough to take supplements responsibly. If you're looking for supplements which may also help with lucid dreaming (outside of vitamins), I would do a search for supplements which increase acetylcholine levels - you could even try a search here on DV. As we get older there are certain chemicals in our bodies which help with memory (and with memory comes lucid dreaming) whose levels drop off. Our younger members don't really need to worry about this untill they're in their late 20's to 30's.
Feel free to PM me if you'd like more information on it.
