Hi,
I just wanted to share something which i think is part of LD, I just started reading the site today, after thinking a lot of a dream that I had today.
This is an occurrence that happens often for me. The best dreams that I have like this happens when I can sleep long and good on weekends. Then what happens is when I wake up after about 7 hours of sleep, I think of a dream that I had, and go back to sleep. I then continue the dream but with changes I made when I was awake. Then after about an hour I wake again and repeat the process. I know that I’m aware in the dreams, to a sense as I notice the changes that I implied when awake, and that its like a story that I can let play, but with a sense of awareness, and it seams like I make some unconscious changes as well as I notice that what happens is a little out of the ordinary for the situation. Now that im thinking about, I do believe that I wake myself up during these dreams, as a kind rest from the dream and the story. Then continue more and more, however, I think that the longer the dreams go on, the more times I wake up, the less details I see, and the less control I have. But I can always wake myself up in those dreams. That’s why I think I never have nightmares anymore. I used to have one, which happened every once in a while. For years, this dream taunted me, but I was never able to explain it because it was so strange. Just a lot of shapes, objects, falling, changing in size of the object, and this was scary for some reason. Then a few years ago, maybe 2 or 3, I think, not sure, but I think I took control in the dream, as I had not had it for a long time, and somehow matured in my mind.
Now, I don’t get enough sleep during the weekdays, so that’s my first goal, and then to start a dream journal. It would be interesting if I could record these long dreams and the changes that I imply and see how they play out afterwards, as I normally only remember how I felt about things in the dreams instead of the dream itself.
Anyway, I’ll report back with some info of how my journal taking is going and if I notice more awareness then I thought I had. Maybe from just thinking about it a bit more will help me to get more aware.
Regards,
Jonas
PS. Im reading some of the tutorials as im writing this, waiting for the forum activation to post, I notice that what im basically doing is WBTB. Hmm interesting…Now that I read some more… I think its Dream reentry via "Void"/visualization method. Very interesting, will look more into that. Hmm maybe im a natural?

Welcome to Dream Views jnilsson. :cooler:
Sounds like a natural to me. Anyone who'd basically experienced (and began developing) lucid dreaming on their own, with no knowledge of it from outside sources, is a natural. Keep up progress on your journal and don't hesitate to ask around, if you have any questions.

thanks, i started tonight with the journal tonight, only got 1 dream down, i think i might have been a little lucid at times. just have to start to do reality checks during the day so i might be able to stay aware during the dream.
thanks, and ill let you people know if (when) i get some questions.

Hey there, welcome! Don't forget to look around the rest of the forum, we have a pretty cool community thing going on which is always fun to be part of.
Good luck with the journal, and lucky you for being a natural. :)
