Hey,
I am of course a noob, I have a question. I have trouble laying on my back to go to sleep, I there and lay there trying to go to sleep but I just cant. I am used to laying on my right side, usually. I have read things about laying on your back and never on your side. My question is, could I get used to laying on my back if I really wanted to, or should I even lay on my back if I cant go to sleep? When I lay on my side I almost instantly go to sleep.
Please Help....

laying on your back can be useful for some methods, but if you cant fall asleep or get comfortable then you really dont have much of a chance lol. go to sleep where you feel most comfortable. dont worry it wont hurt anything :content: I cant fall asleep on my back either but i can still do all the techniques on the site. Including WILD. :)

Last night I tried reverse blinking on my back and could not do it. After I finally gave up and went to sleep on my side, I almost fell instantly asleep. I say do whatever is comfortable to you.

It is worth working on though. I too was / am a right side sleeper. I have gotten much better at being able to relax on my back and it really has improved my LD'ing.

I don't get why you want to sleep on your back when it's not comfortable. Btw, whats reverse blinking?

Hey thanks guys, yea I will try to each night but if I dont succeed then I will go back to my side. I just cant wait till my FIRST lucid dream. I am of course excited but I can usually stay calm so hopefully I will be able to stay in it longer than a second, but who knows....
