Hello and welcome to my question about suggestion/intention or whatever its called.

Still fresh to this forum i tried to find more about suggestion/intention, but i can't find it.
For me it's quite easy / possible to intend what i want to dream about. Like the other day i had intended before going to sleep to dream about driving a car and to try to make that into a trigger to become lucid. The driving the car part worked out fine. i was driving. then after some time somebody else was driving and we encountered some police checkpoint and we had to wait un undefined amount of time. But im drifting from my subject.
Since i can direct the theme in my dream, i am looking for more information/tutorials/advice on that kind of technique. Even the common used name for it would help me. Anything really..
I did find the FAT-tut. and its somewhat helpfull with the dream incubation, but i want more. Like basic stuff about intending; could be even without the dream-context/goal. Even if considering intending/suggesting in RL sounds a little silly, i am interested.
I also found the NTS.. and waht was it i was trying to say.. i got distracted and found something else. the self -affirmation thread. well. thats nice , but also a little dated -> last post 2004. Now its gettign messy.
Anyway , i'm still posting this, to refresh the stream.

I am aiming for dild , i guess.
thank you.

Have you tried MILD? Essentially you intend to remember to realise that you're dreaming, and there's an element of self-affirmation/suggestion involved....

Failing that, Google is useful. Enter:

site:www.dreamviews.com

after whatever search term you enter and it only searches dreamviews....

intention site:www.dreamviews.com

suggestion site:www.dreamviews.com

self-affirmation site:www.dreamviews.com

self hypnosis site:www.dreamviews.com

Look up VILD (visually incubated lucid dream), it involves incubating a dream in which you become lucid. Basically, it has you think up a situation in which something causes you to suspect you're dreaming, and start a reality check. Then, when you're on the verge of sleep, you imagine the situation over and over, in exactly the same way. Eventually, you begin to dream, and instead of starting over the situation just before you do the reality check, you end up doing it and realizing you're dreaming.

Since you're good at incubating dreams beforehand, you probably don't need to do that. Instead of inducing something unrelated to lucidity, like driving a car, try something that's makes it more obvious you're dreaming, like being in a room that's empty except for a sign on the door saying that you're dreaming and should do a reality check, or a friend walking up to you and insisting that you do a reality check. If you can do that, you probably won't need to use any other technique to become lucid.
