Hello! Last night, I woke up to get a drink. When I went back to bed and fell asleep, I was having a dream about a space station. I randomly saw my brother's ipod floating in the air, and I realized I was dreaming! I grabbed the ipod, and it felt completely real :shock: but then i just woke up. Would this be considered a lucid dream? I don't really know why I realized i was dreaming....
Yep, that's a lucid dream! Congrats! As long as you are aware that you're dreaming, it's a lucid dream.
It's really amazing how realistic everything looks and feels in dreams. Sometimes even more clear than it is in waking life.
Yup that was a lucid dream, you had the golden rule, well the only rule:
"Realizing you're dreaming"

It was, but don't worry if it was short, they will gradually get longer!
