I've never heard some one go into REM right after you lie down. THe first session is 90 min into sleep. |

Hello to everyone again. The reason I ask this is when I lay down at night I immediately begin to relax to the point where the onset of SP begins. I will also go through the first stages of SEM . Once this begins my breathing becomes eradic as well as my heart begins to race. I will sometimes see small HI but after that I just fall asleep. Is there anything that I might do differently to slip into the lucid dream??? Please let me know. |

The short answer to this is yes, you can. I have never tried it though, and from what I have heard it is considered very difficult and is a more advanced type of WILD that takes a lot of practice doing regular WILD in the middle of the night first. Also, though possible, it does require you consciously stay in SP for something like 90 mins or 2 hours, as you don't enter any REM periods before this, adding to the difficulty, and anyways the REM periods with better, more vivid dreams are later in the night, and will produce a higher quality WILD anyways. So while possible, if you don't have much experience with WILDing (like me, I do other techniques but don't have the patience to WILD), then I would reccommend doing a regular, after sleep 4-7 hours (depends person by person) WILD. I don't know details about you though, and if you already are experienced in WILD it may be worth a try. |
