      Well I used to have a huge addiction to drugs and video games (nice introduction eh?). I've since cut them out of my life and have been searching for ways to fill the urges that these things quenched. Don't worry I've turned my life around in other ways that ensure that I wont be spending my days swallowing sleeping pills for LD's haha.

      I've always realised I could fly, breathe under water, run like the flash and such in dreams and have always had good dream recall. So after stumbling upon this site it was only a couple of nights before the first time I was controling myself in dreams and at the same time conscious that it was just that. A dream. I feel completely in debt to those who created this site and all the reaserchers past and present who have helped me realise the satisfaction that I used to so vainly seek within drugs and life wasting video games.

      Welcome to the forum. Your dicipline is awesome, and I&#39;m sure that this can be transferred easily to your dreaming life. The energy freed up from the drug use can easily be used for something llike this. I hope you find much success.

      Thanks for the warm welcome. After reading through the forums I can tell this place will be key in furthering my LDing. Also a nice place to release my excitement over this new found pass time (actually more of a time salvage I guess haha). Anyone I try to talk about it to doesn&#39;t seem to want to pay attention. If they only knew what they were missing . Right now I&#39;m working on my dream recall. I can lucid pretty much anytime I fall asleep with the intention it&#39;s just I can&#39;t always remember the whole thing. Also if my Dream Guide ends up being a tattered old man that talks in poetic riddles my life will be complete .
