Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the board and tell everyone a little bit about my past experience.
I have had a few lucid dreams before, mainly DILDs. Some of the lucid experiences were just flashes of lucidity where I got too excited and woke up. I'm starting to take a natural herbal supplement called Seredyn which has Passion Flower and Valerian in it, so hopefully that'll kick me into dream mode. :content:
I hope to start my dream journal soon, start identifying my dreamsigns, and just stick with it!
A quick question too...sometimes I'll have these dreams where my eyes just kind of blackout or fade to black slowly and I can't see anything. I'll try really hard to see again and then the dream will just fade back in and usually stuff stays the same...it happens for about 10 seconds I would say. Any ideas what causes this?
Thanks!

hey
welcome to the wonderful world of DV. this truely is a great place. well... lets see. your blackness issue is common. is this a lucid dream or regular? if it is lucid it is just lack of control or your quite literally fading back to sleep. or it could just be a regular flux of REM periods.

It's a kind of recurring thing. But it's not when I'm lucid. Or maybe I'm lucid, but feel I'm losing power or something maybe? I saw that on dreammoods.com, it means...
"To dream that you are blind, represents your refusal to see the truth or your lack of awareness to a problem. Perhaps you are rejecting something about yourself or your situation."
Hopefully, this will be corrected soon. Thanks again.

The vision loss is probably just the dream starting to end, and when you try hard to see again, you manage to prolong it.

Funny you mention that about the dream starting to end and me fighting it and losing control over it. I had a dream last night where the same thing happened again, but it involved lucid or non-lucid sex with a female DC. But I didn't try to fight it persay, and I actually woke up slowly instead of going "blind." I actually did some spinning in the dream and experienced a small amount of lucidity, but anyway, I think overall I'm starting to become better at exploring my subconscious.

you seem to be refering to some jungian archetypes? one thing that i know for sure... this is just me... is that dreams are personal, so i dont trust anyone that tells me what something represents in a dream.

The Jung archetypes seem interesting. That's probably spot on. Sorry about the misleading words I used. I never intended to do that with my analysis of my dream (which you're right I shouldn't have done anyway). I'll keep that in mind from now on.

Hey Julian welcome to the forum.
If you need anything or have any questions what so ever don't be afraid to ask. There's a place on here where you can make a dream journal or if you want you can look at other people's.
Well cya around, have fun. Bye.
