Hello, everyone!
Hi. My name's Lukas, my alias online is Riley. I came across Lucid Dreaming very recently, by Wikipedia. I was quite curious. I always dream as if it's a movie, or a picture (I had a dream where I was running up a mountain, but I only saw a picture of a mountain). I've since been quite fascinated by the concept of having your own world inside your head.
I always have really weird dreams. The earliest and weirdest dream that I can recall was: I was sleeping, woke up, and found that my family was going on a trip without me. I shrugged it off, and started to play with my trains (this is when I'm 5) and then I heard the door slam open, and a heavy breathing thing in a black cloak started to chase me. I hid under my bed and he couldn't find me. I got up and started to head toward the roof, and he found me, so he chased me some more, and I hid in the laundry room, in the laundry basket, and he got confused, so he started to look everywhere else, and I jumped off the roof. Before I hit the ground, I woke up.
And... yeah. Hi, everyone. I'm interested in learning how to dream lucidly and remember all my dreams. Any tips will be helpful.
PS: Please excuse the awkwardness of the post, I'm still learning.

Hi there, and welcome.
Many people dream 'movie dreams', my wife claims that most of her dreams are like that.
Lucid dreams are best when you can be in a body of some sort, but there's some tricks to 'possess' a body if you need to :)
So are you learning lucid dreaming to combat nightmares?
As a kid, I naturally started lucid dreaming in order to fight my nightmares (just happened when something tried to hurt me)
Lucid dreaming really does help nightmares, and you'll find that the fear/worry/phobia behind the nightmare will become better by combatting it in your dream.
At least that's what happened to me - I don't have nightmares like that anymore.
Check out the tutorials, and feel free to ask questions :)

Yes, I'm a kid. I have alot of weird dreams, one where I run up mountains, buy movies, or do math problems. I usually don't get nightmares, that one was an extreme. But, I want to dream lucidly so I can actually have fun during my dreams instead of being incredibly confused.
