My Introduction to DV

Hey everyone.

I just thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Taylour and I will be fourteen next month. There is not much to say about me because I am always changing. But I AM really annoyed that I forgot to capitalize my user name and now it's stuck that way. (Please excuse my sloppy spelling.)

I have been coming to this site for quite a few months at least, but I was never aloud to sign up because there was this rule that you had to be fifteen (and I was only 13 1/2). But now they have changed that rule and I am SO excited that I am aloud to join.

I began lucid dreaming at a VERY young age, and I knew what it was, but I never knew that there were actually sites about it until about a year ago so I was very happy when I found this site. And I had no idea that so many people were interested in dreaming.

My very first lucid dream was when I was really really young, I must have been only 2 and a half or three (is that possible?), and I was dreaming that a dinosaur was going to eat me, but all of the sudden it started to tickle me, and that was when I became aware that I was dreaming. Unfortunately I decided to wake myself up because I didn't know at the time that it was possible to change dreams. But after that I experimented more and more until I became really good at all sorts of lucid dreaming, dream recall, etc. Over time I also perfected an excellent technique to wake myself up.

But then around two months ago I had some very serious personal problems and my dreams just went caput. I am hoping that with some effort I can get back on track.

First, let me be the first to say welcome to Dream Views. Second, let me say that for a 13 and 11/12 year old, your spelling is excellent. In fact, it's better than many 40 or 50-year-olds that I know of. You do not have to worry about it being sloppy.

You are very fortunate to have natural Lucidity and dream control. While I too have natural lucidity, unless I really, really work at it, I have absolutely no control. I just wish it came so easy to me.
