interesting experiance
I am very new to lucid dreaming; I havn't actually ever experianced one. However, something interesting happened to me recently and I'd like some input from some of you..
Typically I have good dream recall.. I can remember at least one dream a night. However, my ipod died a few days ago, and due to the fact that I've fallen asleep to music for the past year or so, I've had a few restless nights. Tossing and turning, you get it. So I woke up one morning trying to remember what I dreamed about, and all I could grasp were little glimpses.. almost like still images. Nothing solid and complete.. probably because I woke up like 14 times in the middle of the night.
The most vivid thing I remembered was a split second of my own point of view looking at my hands, then a blinding light. The odd thing is that the image is extremely clear.. like being awake. Could I have become lucid and instantly woken up?

It's possible.
It's possible to remember fragments of a lucid dream without remembering that you were lucid in it. It's also possible to have a lucid dream and not remember it completely. However, it's rather unlikely. I would say you were just having a dream about looking at your hands.

That's what I thought too.. The only thing that made me even consider it to be a lucid was the fact that everything was so abnormally clear.
And wishful thinking of course.
