A Newbie says Hi
Hello, everyone.
My name is Mihkel and I’m from Estonia (a small country between Latvia, Russia, Sweden and Finland). I used to be a natural lucid dreamer to age 7 but from this time my recall has decreased much. I discovered LD when I was 13. I didn’t get any lucid dreams so I just stopped. From this time I think I’ve had few LDs that i remember. They have all been apocalypic and very vivid dreams. Now I rediscovered it a month ago. So I decided to give me another chance. Now I’m working on my recall. First 3 weeks were pretty good - from few fragments to three dreams per night. But this week has been horrible, I only recalled two dreams yesterday and 5 days before it was nothing and I have nothing today, too. I’m also a very deep sleeper – there's been some cases when even a alarm clock doesn’t wake me up and I could sleep 8 to 14(doesn’t happen to me very often but i have sleeped 15 hours and I know it’s not good, but I’ll try to not sleep more than 8 hours) hours in summer. But I know that I will have my first well documented LD soon. One of the reasons I joined this site is that I think communicating with other people like me gives some great motivation.
Well that wasn’t short but Hi everyone!

Welcome to the forums!
And as for lucid dreaming, there is plenty of help to be offered here. I'm also a very heavy sleeper, so I know where you are coming at, but that in itself can be used to your advantage. I've had one lucid dream in the past, induced by a nightmare, but back then I didn't know what it was, so I never really continued it. Only recently have I discovered it and I decided to take up on it so I can experience new things. Be sure to read the tutorials on the site first, and then ask questions on anything you aren't sure about, we are all here to help each other out! ;) Good luck with your lucid dreams!

Hi there Mihkel and welcome to the forum.
Yeah that happens to a lot of people, having lucid dreams when they are young and then stop having them as they grow up, its annoying as hell. Well this forum is here to help you get more. Haha I know what you mean about having long sleeps during summer :P I always do that too.

Three dreams a night is really good recall, you are off to a good start!

Well I had my first LD. I f'cked it up but the feeling was just so great.
Here it goes:
I was at my countryside home (I was tehere in real life too). My aunt K was visiting my family and she had a kitten with her. The kitten was very cute and I fed him with milk. Then my sister M comes with her two friends and says: "If we realize we're dreaming we'll kick you're ass" (missed my dreamsign: talking about dreaming). Few moments later my sister comes to me and I say: "Look at you, you're dreaming, kick me" Then I watched my sister's eyes, her eyes were very red, just like after crying . Then I thought maybe I am in a dream. I raised my hands, then my right hand vanished then I thought what the hell and a second later i was so excited and did a flip-flop then everything started to disappear and I rubbed my hands but i couldn't keep my eyelids closed.

Iv'e often called him Rustboy. Well, I wish I had some good info on Lucid for you. But I did find out what WILD was yesterday. Have you heard of that yet?
Welcome from a newbie
