Thread: YES finally my first LUCID DREAM!

First some history.
-I have been trying to become lucid for months, seriously, its been a long time. I have tried many methods, lots of meditating, hypnosis, doing reality checks during the day, improving my dream recall, and alothough i could remeber dreams better, I never could become lucid, that is until now!

Basically about 30 minutes ago I woke up from the best 2 hours of my life. I didnt get much sleep last night so i decided to take a nap at 4 and I became lucid! heres what happened.

-I was in the same bedroom that I had fallen asleep in, I started to walk downstairs, I thought I was awake. My mom started to talk to me, and I had a hard time getting words out, and my mom was in a wierd place, levitating above the stairs. I started to kind of get confused, and she asked me if I was on drugs, I said no, and then it somewhat occured to me that i might be dreaming. To check if I really was I started walking back to my bedroom to see if my body was still sleeping in my bed. It was. I started walking near myself and I finally realized yes this is a dream, then this incredible sensation took over my body i as started to try and lie on my body. I woke up, but I actually was still dreaming. This time I walked downstairs and went to school. I dont know how I got there, but I was talking to my friends outside the science room. I knew I was dreaming so i decided I was gonna have some fun. I was trying to listen to my friend talk to me, but it was really really hard to talk and listen, he then proceeded to ask, "dude max, are you high?". I got scared and forgot it was a dream for a while, and said no and started going to class. I thought this is school, and that im not dreaming, until i saw my friend running through the halls screaming. I decided this would test if im dreaming, and I beat him up, and we threw eachother against the walls. Suddenely three teachers ran up to us, and asked what was going on? they were amazed when they found that only two people created such a ruckus. Again I was scared and told myslef "you idiot this isnt a dream, don't do such stupid things". Somehow though and im not sure how, but I just knew that my body was still napping and everything would be fine, I could do whatever I wanted. So now that I was sure I was dreaming, totally sure, the dream took a dirty turn. I'll keep it pg, and just say i hung out with a lot of cheerleaders. After that, I watched a powerline concert "from a goofy movie" and then I woke up!


It was really amazing, I now see why people try so hard to become lucid. I just hope now that I have had one Ill be able to do some more. And to everyone who is still trying to get one, KEEP TRYING... IT really is worth it, it is awesome.

I did have one problem though, even though I did have some control over the environment, and where i was, it was limited. The whole rest of the dream was in school, because I could not figure out how to leave. I was able to run away from teacher though, and get to different parts of the building.
