Hi guys, been lurkin here for a few weeks finally decided to start posting. I've only been aware of lucid dreaming for a few months now, and I've managed to stumble my way into 5 (that i can remember) LDs.
One big question I have - has anyone else ever while dreaming kinda lost the visuals but kept the narrative in thier head? I've found that when this happens if I concentrate reeeeeal hard I can keep the dream going (and sometimes even get visuals back). Funny thing is sometimes I can be concentrating on keeping the narrative-dream going... and not know I'm dreaming! d'oh!
I've actually managed to get 2 LDs off this, once while falling asleep it happened, as I attacked some guy with katanas (don't ask) I suddenly became lucid, no reality checks, no realisation that I'm dreaming - just from this almost dream to lucidity.
One other time when I was waking up from a dream it happened, and somehow I jumped in a pool in my narrative-dream and (I guess all the extra sensation of water??) I was lucid. Only difference with that one is that I had realised I was dreaming before jumping in the pool (although I didn't make myself jump in).
