How can I start to remember my dreams?
I haven't remembered one of my dreams in sooooo long.
I don't even remember ever dreaming... Since I was a little kid.

Greets and welcome. Hmm, I don't think I've ever welcomed anyone here before.
But at any rate, you should most certainly look over the Tutorials section:

There you will find, amongst many others, the Dream Recall Tutorial.
However, a good start would be a two-fold task:
- recall dreams in the morning with effort
- keep a dream journal
The first step is the active way to get recall rolling. Upon waking up, at any time, be it in the morning, in the middle of the night or after a nap - lie still, with eyes closed, relaxed but focus on the thoughts in your head and think back. Actually put effort into recalling what you were dreaming, the link to such memories being thoughts in your head most of the time.
Then, upon recalling that, pick up the journal and write the memories down. Be it several long dreams in detail or even just a few emotions/feelings - write down whatever you recall.
Both these steps are key because, further on, when your recall rises, you'll look back through your dream journal and find dream signs - often occuring concepts in your dreams and from there on to lucidity, but that's another story and many techniques for that as well.
Good luck, I'll be getting my recall up seriously starting this night as well so I hope some of that luck spreads to me too.
Welcome to the Dreamviews
A word of advice-make sure you read the first pages of the site before posting
xxloveht, first welcome to Dream Views!
What really messes up my dream recall is being jarred awake by an alarm or some other sound and /or if I immediately change position or start thinking about my day once I wake up. Try telling your subconscious to wake you up after each dream or to wake you up about 15 minutes before your alarm goes off (I know it sounds stupid but you'd be surprised how accomodating your subconscious can be).
Once you wake up.. do not move! Think about the dream that you just had.. If nothing comes to mind.. try to remember if there was a specific person, place, thing, food or emotion in the dream. Once you come up with even a tidbit of the dream.. try to work your way backward.. how did you get there.. who was with you, etc.

Just get up once a night (3-4 hours of sleeping) and think really hard. Even if you dont dream try to write about something cool. Like how you think lucid dreaming feels, and make sure to write "I will have a lucid dream tonight!" 10x at least. Hope this helps. ^_^
