Hi I'm sleeptight
I just wanted to post here as an introduction of my self! I will tell you about who I am and what I like to do!
I'm 15 years old and i come from sweden. I like boxing alot and hangout with my friends.
I noticed this forum first when I was surfing around on a sweidsh site called flashback, there they recomended this site for Lucid dreaming, and i thought :
Why not give it a chance?
So here I am. Taking my chance.
Ive come to understand that you need to think that you will remember that you dream, the next time you dreaming.
So a few times today like 10-20 ive asked my self the question, Am i dreaming. Then i go check for signs that show me if im awake or not!
I hope i've understanded the basics.
But I want to learn alot more.
So please help me out here beacuse I tried to Lucid dream last night and it almost worked.
So here I am trying and trying. I will not give up til i succed in a Lucid dream.
p.s. Sorry for my spelling !;)
(Edit)
I forgot to tell you that I think i go with the FILD meathod.

Welome to Dreamviews, and yes you have understood the basics and present a very positive attitude to Lucid Dreaming. However, keep in mind that it could take quite a while to have your first lucid so please don't be put off by this.

No no, quiters don't make champions :P
Thanks for welcomming me!
I hope I will have a nice visit here :)
Now while I'm here I want to ask a phew questions if that's ok.
First what is adopting?
What is WILD?
And what are the other ILD:s?
-
Adopting is where you seek out somebody who seems quite experienced and who you would like to train you make sure you PM them though and don't advertise yourself in threads as this is against the rules.
A WILD is falling asleep consciously see this tutorial for a better explanation though http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=1886
There are many many other ways to induce lucid dreams, more then I could type anway, so I reccomend you look around the site to find out more (make sure you have read the first page of this site)

Thanks alot for all help, now i will read as much I can to understand Lucid dreams.
Thanks and sleeptight!

Hello and welcome to Dream Views Sleeptight.
Looks like you have the basics covered now. Read up on the tutorials and pick a couple that appeal to you. If practicing the one one isn't producing results after some time, try the other. Perhaps it'll work out better.
Oh, about adoption, you have to be an active member for a couple of weeks before seeking out an adopter. If that's the route you're planning to take best of luck finding someone. There are some great members here to study under. Get to know the place and it's members and youll find someone eventually who is right for you.
