Some days I think I had a dream (this will happen later in the day) but I'm having a hard time if it's just something my mind made up at that moment, or a dream I had at an earlier date, or a dream I had this past night. For the most part I'm pretty sure it's an old dream. I have a dream journal that hasn't gotten much use (a month since my last dream ><) should I write these down?
Yes you should, its probabily a dream...i can always tell if its a fantesy or a dream, its very obvous.
One problem i have is separating dreams from reality, i have dreams about the most mundain things, like...a few times i thought i had a conversatyion with somone, and i continued talking to them about it, they were like wtf?
Later i realized i must have dreamed the conversation lol.
Yeah that happens to me quite a bit, my friends get so confused, then I get confused. Sometimes I'll dream I did something, like my homework, to realise that I never actually did, as usual.
Yeah the mind is a tricky thing, most people don't realise that memories get distorted over time, and that they can be quite unreliable.
Meh I'd suggest you write them down immediately and continue with your dream journal, I mean come on, put some effort in now. A month geez j/k :P
Sometimes I will wake up and then think that something that had actually happened the previous day was a dream.
