Hey Guys!!!
I just wanted to share this thing. (Maybe you know) I have a poor dream recall; Since last two weeks I have had only three dreams (my usual recall rate is much worse) and the worse thing is that all three dreams were nightmares!!! :mad: So I can say that the only dreams I can remember are Nightmares :mad:
Well I guess I dont need any help in this (as some nightmares are fun, really :banana:). But if you have any helpful suggestions, then you're always welcome. :)
Well, nightmares may be a reflection of something you've got going on in life... like stress or unsolved issues.. so if you straighten some things out in waking life then that will transfer into your dreams, relieving you of nightmares.
You could also use something from your nightmares as a dream sign to help induce lucidity! :banana:
Good advice. I once was having frequent nightmares about being chased by some guys. It seemed as though I couldn't get enough distance to feel comfortable. They were always right behind me and I couldn't move fast at all.
I paid off that tax debt and - like magic - the chased dreams stopped.
I stick with my belief that everything in your dream is "you," which is why you have control over your dreams! You have as much control over your dreams as you do your own state of mind. Nightmares and dreams no doubt reflect a persons thoughts, and if a person described about four or five of their dreams to me I would probably be able to learn alot about them. Like the being chased example, it no doubt reflected a relatively significant time in One's life, so therefore he dreamed of it. It probably also reflected One's state of mind on the subject, something like this. (Of course I don't read minds. This is just a guess, but I reasonable one. Is this how you felt One?)
"Ugh, they're after me! I've got to get away! Why won't they just leave me alone and stop bugging me! I might not make it out of this..."
Dreams are a great oppurtunity to learn about yourself, and to know the importance of this, think, "Why do I need to know how I tick?"
And as for getting of the nightmares, just keep a positive mind on whatever's bugging you. Stay confident that "it can't get you," or whatever would apply to your situation. Try to figure out what these dreams are reflecting and then you can get to the bottom of it. If you're not stressed I don't know what to say. Except googling something like <nightmare OR "bad dream" ~remedies>. I tested that search and it seems to produce soom good results :)
Its right that nightmares are my own (waking world) fears, but some nightmares are just classic, and fun too. And are induced by movies :D. Like, a few days ago I watched a Zombie movie ( a pretty cool one ) and a few days later i had a dream in which I was getting chased by Zombies. Total fun :banana:. I wish i would had been lucid then; I could have become Van Helsing ( i dont remember the name correctly ), the guy that beats up the Un Dead.
Lucid nightmares would be awesome man :cool:, total fun :banana:.
Being chased by zombies would be terrifying if I was conscious... Unless I can shoot lasers out of my eyes! :D
