So far i only know of two techniques that have helped me with lucid dreaming. One of them is falling is one of your bodie parts falling asleep. another is thinking about LD before falling asleep whice has been the most effective for me so far.

Do you purposely caused a body part fall asleep by putting it in a weird position? Or has this happened randomly to you?
(dodobird--I think he means like when your hand or foot gets numb when you don't move it for a while.)
Search Lucid Dream on Wikipedia. Theres a whole section on WILD, MILD, WBTB, dream journals, a bunch of stuff.
there are a lot of tutorials here on the website. just look for them, it will probably be a lot easier then having people tell you.
