for the past 3 years ive been having dreams about the world ending and can still remeber them all ive looked for answers as to why this could be but could not find any so i thought i would put a post up to see if anyone has ever had dreams like this ive talked to friends i know and none of them have ever had dreams like these i was wondering if anyone would know what these dreams mean or why i would be having them
I have dreams like that all the time. I don't think they mean anything.Just another dream.

Hrm reoccurring dream about the end of the world...You know there's a Dream Interpretation forum here too, maybe if you post a few very detailed dreams, we will be able to see a pattern and work out why you keep having them.
Kind of... Only ones where everyone leaves earth, because it's barren.
That's it really.
the first dream i remember having was i was watching the news and nuclear power plants were metling down and everyone was losing power and riots were breaking out
the second was i was on a beach at night with alot of people and we were looking at what looked like neon blue and pink strings in the sky they seemed very far away and were making me feel nervous then there was this giant flash of light and everyone started running into a beach house and i grabbed this kid to take him in the house and then there was another flash of light and i dont remeber the rest
the third dream i had i was trying to go somewhere but i was very dangerous to travel and people were going crazy and then i found this group of people led by a guy with a beard who thought they knew a place where you could get clean water so i joined them and we eneded up finding a cave that had clean water but i didnt stay with them very long and left to go where ever i was traveling to
the dream i had last night me and my gf were traveling through the country looking for food there were alot of farms around and we were hungry we tryed stealing food from a farm and a farmer and his two sons caught us and said if they caught us on anyones farm again they would kill us later on down the road we saw military vehicles that were in some kind of accident but didnt want to talk to us we kept walking down the road and found an abbandon house that belonged to and old lady and found a whole bunch of honey in jars in her house we spent the night there but were afraid that the farmer we stole from was going to come to kill us thats all i can remeber
and all these dreams always have people and places ive never seen before i had a few others but there just usally me hinding in different buildings waiting for a safe time for when i can leave usally im hiding from somekind of disturbance outside of the the building useally related to military or rioting people

I'd give the search feature on here a shot and look for "epocalypse" or "end of the world". I remember this same exact topic coming up about a year or so ago on here.
*edit* I managed to find this thread here, not the one I was thinking of tho. Funny, the member who started the thread has name similar to yours - hmmmm.... :wtf:

I often dream of people and places that I've never seen before. When I am dreaming of a place that I know IRL, it usually looks completely different in the dream. I wouldn't read much into possible meaning behind your dreams, but you could be paranoid about the world coming to an end. When I was younger, I often worried about dying an unnatural and premature death. I think that carried over to my dreams every now and then because most nightmares I remember involved someone trying to kill me.

Yes i've had a couple of dreams where the world ends.
The most ironic one was when the sun was falling onto the earth. The reason being it was ironinc because i had to escape it by climbing a tall tree and then when it did hit the earth i was just floating around in the colour orange.
I've had a dream like this, i've always thought it would be interesting to see the world end, but after actually seeing it and feeling the feelings I felt after seeing it, I don't think so. I remember being with a couple buddies of mine and seeing a large object fill the sky and strike the earth, I remember the sky immediatly turned brown/red and I went flying through the air. I'll never forget the feeling I got when seeing that object in the sky. It was like my heart sunk to my stomache.
I believe dreams like this have somekind of universal symbolism to us and are not really tied into any kind of prophecy or claravoyant abilities (but that's just me).
Heh, I had a dimilar dream once - it was the aftermath of the apocalypse and I was leading somekind of revolution to get the world back on it's feet. There I was leading thousands and thousands in an old white ice-cream truck! LOL! I'm sure that dream was inspired by something going on in my life at the time. Can't remember what, though.Quote:

I to have had dreams of the world ending. Hey, wait I posted the same things in another forum though... lol! As we all known dreams can be something about the internal or both internal and external or just the external. However, I usually associate the end of the world dreams with something BIG in your life coming to an end(Internal) or something BIG in everyones life coming to an end.(External)

I dont really think they have much to do with anything ending in my life because i have had more then one and i cant recall much goning on in my life at the times that ive had them if i have any more ill be sure to post them here

Sorry, anyway. I don't remember having more than one dream about the end of the world, it was quite scary actually! It was like the sun was going SuperNova and we all just had to think to ourselves "When we go to sleep, we won't wake up because we're all dead, this is it, goodbye"
On T.V. (in this dream) there was this guy (you know, the show off on T.V. you get now and then) covouring himself with this water and oil stuff saying "This is how not to die from the Sun" or something similir, the whole dream was quite upsetting, didn't bring a tear to my eye though.
It was really serios and upsetting actually!
Dreams are simply projections of our subconsciouss mind, you probably heard something on the radio or saw something on the TV to do with the world ending but your consciouss mind failed to process it so it was left to your sub consciouss in your dreams, nothing more, nothing less.
