I'm just wondering, because I have NO idea if I'm getting into Lucidity at a late age or anything. I just wanna make sure that people around my age definitely had success from going to no lucid dreams to often LD's.
I'm 18 By the way.

i am also 18 i've had a few LD's so far but only with little control, i consider myself a "newbie" to the whole LD experience because i am barely starting to really try to LD, beofre it was just by luck but i am really taking things seriously now and i hope in a few weeks i'll be adopted!
14 plz dont throw me out! :(
My first LD i had was at the age of 8-10 yrs (not just a simpl LD, but a serious one where i had complete control of my dream... almost cuz i didn't know how to use these powers).
Now i'm 16 yrs old, and i started practicing Dream recalling since yesterday... (my first day, first dream recalled perfectly).
i had my first ld about 10 months ago when i was 17. im 18 now
Im 14 soon to be 15 in 2 mounths
im very into this type of thing because i wanna live in a anime world XD
BTW im the owner of AnimeALive.com XD
15 here, but no lucids yet. There seem to be a lot of people around the 14-22 age range on this site. I don't think there's any age limit to lucid dreaming. It just gets a little harder with age. But hey, you're still young at 18, it shouldn't be a problem.
Welcome to Dreamviews by the way.
Yeah i forgot to Welcome people to DreamViews XD anyway WELCOME!!!
hmm. Ive never thought I'd feel old at 21 and yet here we are ;)
I've been practing lucid dreaming since 2000-2001, and since have had well over 100 LD's (possibly in the 200 to 300 range?). And right about now im wishing I had kept up with my dream journal because I dont remember most of them, at least not off the top of my head.
It sucks. Keep a journal. And keep keeping a journal.
I'm 19 and have been into lucid dreaming since I was about 12.
I am 15 i been trying to lucid for the pass year almost
i'm 18 years old!
i'm sixteen. It's never too late, lucid dreaming is a skill you can put in practice at any time in your life! Good luck!
I'm 18 (going on 19) and I wouldn't say I've had any "real" lucid dreams yet. A few close calls though.
I'm 13, going on fourteen next month. I've been LDing for just about as long as I can remember. (Usually good ones too.) I've been coming to this site for quite a few months, but was only aloud to join recently. (You used to have to be 15.)
I am 23, 24 next month. Still working on my first LD as I only started reading about Lucid Dreaming in the last week or so.
I don't think any age is too late to start, especially 18. I heard it is a bit easier to learn and do the younger you are, but I don't know if that is true.
I'm 16 now, got started last year when I was 15. :D
I am an ancient one at age 44. I have been lucid dreaming since my early teens.
I'm 45, first learned about lucid dreaming when I was in my early 20's, back about the time Dr. LaBerge was doing his research. I had my first one at 30.
Things have changes to much since then. Now there is a lot of reliable informaiton available on the subject, both in book form and online :)
17
We are all 13 or 16.
... or 22. I'd had a couple of low-level LDs before learning about them, but officially learned they had a name at 19. (See join date.)
i didnt realize how young everybody was here, i thought that i was probably the youngest here but seeing others says 13, 14, and 15 is crazy, im used to being at forums where most are in their mid 20s.
Im 14 :D
i'm twenty...
i had coincidentally an experience of a conscious transition into dreamworld but cut off because i didn't know what it was... so i've begun reading about lucid dream, for i'd already heard of it some years ago... and there i am... haven't yet had my first lucid dream but as it seems i'm on the right track...
I'm 19. I don't believe there is an age where one becomes too old to start lucid dreaming. As long as you are willing to learn, and still have dreams (who doesn't?) then why shouldn't you be able to? ...Okay, okay, unless you have quite bad memory problems, I suppose.
Hi everyone.
My first post here.
I am 27.
I see most of the members are under 20:p
I feel like an old man now !
I like the forum already. Yours
Fuck guys, making me feel old.
Anyway, what happened to the 16 year age limit???
16 :)
43... been LDing for about 10 years.
I was born the week the Beatles came to the US and played Ed Sullivan.
I'm 15.. :p
I'm 33. I read about lucid dreaming in the late 90's and then fell away from it for awhile because I never was able to get enough sleep to succeed. Now I'm back with vengeance and determined to master it.
-apathy
No it used to be 15. Now I think it's 13. If you are UNDER 13 you need a parent's permission to join.
At least that's what it was when I joined. Now I don't know if there even IS an age limit. I re-read the registration rules, and I can't find anything about what age you have to be.
I be 16 years of age. Shhh, nobody told you.
I'm 26... at least I'm not the oldest one who's replied to this thread! :p
19 and just got into this...haven't had a lucid dream yet.
I'm turning 19 in about a month! An LD would be nice for my birthday! Better than some crappy card, anyways! ('Cept the card from grandma with $10 in 'em; those rule!)
It's funny, I always thought that LDing would be particularly difficult during the teen years, what with crazy hormones and all. Meh.
I'm turning fifteen in August. I started lucid dreaming a year and a half ago, but I've been going through phases where I'll start, then stop, then start again, then stop again. Each time I start, it's a lot like starting from scratch, and it's something that I'm trying to stop.
I'm in my latter 40's and have been have LD's for most of my life. All I can say is that the LD experience improves with age.
HOLY CRAP! I'm 85!
hah. just kidding
16 over here.
Its kind of funny when you see everybody's posts like.. " LUCID SEX! " and they end up being like.. 13.
TRUE DAT! ^ Ha that was funny "HOLY CRAP! I'm 85!
hah. just kidding
16 over here." :)
Stalkers
Ha, mostly teenagers. As am I at the age of 17...
I can remember my first lucids dreams at a surprisingly early age, somewhere around 4-5, possibly even younger. Haven't had a (good) lucid in a LONG time though. I sort of accidently/unconciously trained myself to block out my dreams due to various ummm... tramatic (sp?) experiences. Though recently i've been working towards becoming lucid again. My recall used to be around 1-2 a month, though now is between 1-3 a night. I plan to reclaim my dreamscape lol, f-ing nightmares...
BTW: First post, great forum you guy's got here...
I'm 36, and have been Lucid dreaming since the 80s. I didn't realise there were so many young people here either. But I guess that makes sense. Most of the older people are probably to set in they're ways, To want to really start learning it. And since Lucid Dreaming is Just starting to get more known.
It's only logical that more kids than adults would be interested in it. But thats not a bad thing. It makes the future of Lucid Dreaming Look pretty good!
Hmmm. After reading through these posts I hesitate to mention how old I am.
I'm the one who should probably be worried about being booted off-for having bypassed the maximum age limit.
Oh, wth, I'm 46.
Im 15...no lucid experience
I'm 15. I had a few LDs when I didn't know what they were (not counted), but I just started trying a few months ago. I've had 4 since.
Yea i'm 16, but i don't think there's any real age influence on lucidity.
i actually got into a convo with my younger brother about lucid dreaming once, and he told me he had done it before unintentionally and now occasionally tries some techniques. and hes only 11.
gonna be 17 in 2 months. I had my first lucid around 7-9 years old-ish. Not really sure. just started this 1 month ago
I'm 15 :D
im 16. i think that should be the minimum age, geez. jk guys.
17...and 4 months mind you! :D
im old enough to know better and young enough not to care
in real life i am an 11yr old with an iq of 159
but on the internet im just an average 22yr old
ps i had my first lucid last night
inter net beleives what you tell it to
Im 16, just learned about lucid dreaming about 2 months ago. Thought this might be a good site to get some facts and make some friends in the process. It's pretty hard for me to grasp the concept. I mean when you are asleep, you're out for 6-8 hours average. Lucid dreaming is where you control your dreams ,right? When you sleep, time passes by instantaniously! I mean its seems like two minutes later, you're awake. Ever since I learned about lucid dreaming, ive been interested in it. So yup It's cool to see that there are people my age interested in this as well.
high iq does not mean high maturity
im 16
I'm 18, And have had LD's ever since I can remember, it was something normal to me, untill I found this site a few weeks ago by accident. cool to see it actually WAS something while I thought it was 'nothing'
18 here, really surprised how young this community is. Only just recently found this and am working hard for my first LD. gettin there!
Me too! By the way people talk about, I really want to learn a way to induce it. I'm going to buy a journal and start recording my dream recalls. Am I crazy for being here?
yeah i went out and got a journal and some b-6 vitamins, had a pretty interesting night and was able to recall all my dreams although nothing lucid. Sometimes i ask myself the same question, am i crazy for trying this? lol but the reward seems so great.
20 years of age here. No lucid dreams yet, but I just started out anyway.
Everything improves with age...well almost everything.
I'm 21. I've had tens of lucid dreams, some when I was younger and hadn't heard about it, some after reading about it earlier this year.
Yeah, I noticed that. I just love silent changes in fundamental rules!
I didn't notice the parental approval age limit (DV as PG!). Sounds good from the point of view of the "My parents don't want me lucid dreaming" threads, but I'm sure its even less practical than a flat age limit.
Before I read this thread I thought the age limit was removed because it was getting silly with so many people under the limit and "don't ask, don't tell" is just nasty. But most everyone here is over 15... not that there aren't very good reasons for younger people not to post their true age here :-).
I am 15, and have many LD's throught my life, but of only semi-lucidity, and kind of low quality. I have only gotten really into attaining luciduty on purpose for about 2 weeks or so, as per this post date. I've been trying to WILD, but have been DILDing many more times. It's easier, but not as good quality for me. My dream reall is okay, and my dreams linger in my mind for hours or days.
19. No lucids yet, that I can remember anyway. I have crappy recall, and I can only remember three dreams from before I started journalling.
Seventeen with lots of lucid adventures under my belt.
I'm 18 as well, and I just started on the path to lucid dreaming a couple of weeks ago. I can't recall having any lucid dreams in the past, though, unless you count two dreams where I realized I was dreaming and woke up immediately afterwards.
13
I am 18
15. I'm a young one.
I'm 14, turning 15 in March.
I always wondered about those dreams that you could literaly walk around in. I was always wondering what it would be like to control my dreams. I just started about 3-4 weeks ago.
(2-3 weeks of finding a beginners techneque that feels right for me) I'm very confident that I will have a lucid dream every night, all day. But I'm suprised that with the new techneque
I found. Says "tell yourself regularly "I will remember my dreams"" it says that it will go into my subcontus. (Witch I don't completely understand). But now I have 3-4 dreams every
night. I love dreams. Pracacing (I probably spelled that wrong) lucid dreaming gives me something to do over the summer. Other than play with my brother and friends.
I'm 16 now, 17 next month.
I've been into lucid dreaming since the last year.
15 turning 16 in October :)
haha, i'm glad people are younger, cause i'm 15 going on 16 and i was afraid i would have been the youngest :p, i found this site about a week ago, and i started a DJ 3 days ago, and already i have about 6, the last being the most descriptive :D
20, going on 21 in August. Nevada, here I come!
18, 19 in August
