Did I get to SP?

Well I tried to WILD last night and I'm kind of confused as to whether or not I was reaching sleep paralysis. It didn't feel like I had been trying it for very long at all, maybe two minutes, but I was seeing kind of faint images. It's kind of hard to explain what it was, but it was kind of like a ton black and white triangles, turning themselves inside out over and over, but they were pretty unclear.

So after what felt like another minute, my legs started to feel like they were being pulled side to side, but from what I've read this doesn't occur even close to as fast as it seemed to. Maybe it just felt like a short amount of time to me, but I'm not sure. So anyways I saw a kind of bright square, and it made me think my eyes were open, and I actually opened them. Right as I opened my eyes the pulling feeling on my legs stopped.

So I'm asking if this could have been the start of sleep paralysis, or something else. Thanks.

Ok, by the sounds of things you must have gone through SP, you may not have experienced SP itself but you will have gone through it because you managed to reach HI (hypnogogic imagery) where you saw flying shapes, you did well so yes you did reach and even surpass SP, keep trying, you seem to have sucess with this!
