LDed, but kinda confused.

This morning i had 3 dreams or a dream with 3 "chapters" :P. its was weird, here it is:

"Chapter" 1 "Preparation?"

I Woke up from a dream(when i actually was still dreaming), went to the computer to look some articles about LDing, I was falling asleep in front of the computer but then i start looking at the CPU it was all weird. suddenly i woke up in my bed.
>in this "chapter" i was thinking about LDing ALL THE TIME.<

"Chapter" 2 "Lucid Dream"

So, when i woke up i did a RL and heyyy LUCID FOR THE FIRST TIME!.
i was like so freaking happy, but i suddenly remembered i should calm down, so i did.
i went to the bathroom to do one more RL, i looked at my hands and my fingers were weird, like one over another and weird stuff :P.
I was so happy, it was so real, the only difference is that i had more control in real life than in that dream, srsly, i wasnt even able to talk in the dream. i tried and tried, and i talked but like if i was going to die. i was talking so slow, so i tried to summon a certain person to the scene(thinking about that person, or even saying "appear !!") , but i couldnt, so i remembered a guide about "think why that person would be there", so i did, opened the door thinking why, she didnt appear, some shadowy figure appeared(like the hooded dudes in LOTR), i said "Hell ur going to ruin my LD" so i started to kick his ass :x, then i woke up. but wait now i know that was a FA-

"Chapter" 3- "FA"

I was happy about the LD, i was thinking yay i'll post it on DV right away, i thought i'll say "i went to the computer" blah blah, like all that actually happened when now i know it was just a dream.

Well thats it, this morning when i woke up i didnt remember any of this dream. but suddenly i remembered all, and i realized i've never went to the computer this morning, and i wasnt even sure if i actually LDed or i dreamed an LD(if thats even possible).

im not 100&#37; sure if i LDed, but i KNOW it felt really real, but the control sucked, i was able to move where i wanted, but wasnt able to talk freely.

Hey Bakuryu, welcome to DV for a start and i will answer all your questions.

1. Yes it is possible to dream that you had a lucid dream, its quite common for it to happen, you will simply dream that you are consciously aware within the dream and know you are dreaming.

2. I think that you definately had lucid dream, if you consciously knew that you were dreaming for sure then you did have a lucid dream. All it requires is for you to know that you are dreaming and its a lucid dream.

3. What you experienced was a DILD because you did and RC within the dream without doing any technique before bed like MILD of waking up in the morning to do a WILD or WBTB.

Congratulations on your lucid dream though, there will be many more to come if you keep practicing, control can vary in lucid dreams but i can tell you that the more you practice and the more lucid dreams you have the better and more freely you'll be able to control your dreams. 1) Yeah it's possible to dream about knowing you're dreaming.

2) Hrm that sounds like one, did you actually know you were dreaming though? If you did, then congrats it was a lucid.

3) It was a DILD if it happened just by dreaming. If you kept saying "I will lucid dream" ect, then it was a MILD.

2- i did know i was dreaming, i LDed then
3- thats the thing! i kept saying " i will lucid dream " BUT not awake, it was in the first dream("chapter 1"), i was thinking about that all the time!.

it is possible to dream u know u are dreaming.i call that becoming aware im dreaming.Also as to not being able to speak,remember u are dreaming and its your dream so u dont have to speak.its like projecting your thought.dont say i want this to happen,u are dreaming,think that its happening and your dream will change.no need for speech.i call this my verbal projection.i dont even know if these two words exist but thats what i call it. I project what i want to say.verbal projection.
