How still is still for WILD?

I was trying WILD before I went to sleep at night (a bad idea, I know) and I was doing a good job keeping still. I was surprised I could keep my mind as focused as it was by counting my breaths, then imagining the numbers in different materials and feeling them (such as rock, glass, mashed potatoes, etc). But I kept swallowing because my mouth was salivating (probably from the mashed potatoes). I was still relaxed, but I wasn't sure if swallowing would mess me up for a WILD. Do you think I was still enough? I think I am going to try WBTB tonight.

By the way, I finally gave up once I sneezed.

I've never successfully WILDed, but I tried recently, and I did swallow. I think I actually was starting to fall asleep, with myself fully concious, then I felt my fingers starting to move by their own accord, and I crapped myself and opened my eyes :eek: So, it's probably possible that you can swallow, but don't take my word for it.
