A few questions.
I have a few questions. I've been lurking on and off here for the last six months or so, and have tried mostly HILDs and WILDs, and a few other techniques that I've seen here. My problem, is that I either enter a dream, and never gain lucidity, or I never get out of the body twitching. (When trying WILD.) Last night I was attempting a WILD, and I noticed that I was in bed for a bit over three hours and still didn't get actually fall asleep. The only reason why I didn't try longer was that some idiot pulled the fire alarm in my dorm! Can anyone give me any advice on this?
Another question: Before I tried LDing, music always helped me go to sleep. I figure really heavy metal wouldn't help with LDing (Although I can, and do sleep through it.) but would you recommend some classical music, jazz or even soft rock?

I have no experience with HILDs and WILDs. But making reality checks in the day a habit you are sure to do one in a dream eventually. You can gain lucidity that way.
