yo, what's the big deal!!! my posts are disapearing!!!
They might have been the ones that wrecked other people's topics.
Well, I see you've been trying to make up for it (almost every post under the newbie zone has been ended by you)...
Padfoot,
Only your meaningless and off topic posts are disappearing. If you will notice, all posts you have made that are meaningful and that contribute to the topic remain.
Please make positive contributions to the forum.
I'll tell you why your posts are disappearing. because the majority of them are like this:
maybe you haven't heard, but I DO NOT TOLERATE POST-WHORES.Quote:

uuuuuuuuh,
yeah
if you're going to continue to make posts similar to this in order to raise your post count then yes, they WILL be deleted. but if you can show that you're going to contribute to this forum by making real posts that make sense and actually contain something, then a few one-word posts can be over-looked. but listen. as long as you don't post just to raise your post-count, then we're cool. got it?
alright. i do try to stick to the topic, unlike the old me,(before i had an avatar)
Yeah, I am sure you are a completely different person now that you have an avatar...
And a new account.... :rolllaugh:
Which is inactive? What happened to his account.
i'm getting a new account. i was under 13, this is only temporary.
:goodjob: Yes, he has the paperwork and when I get it back, he will be fully legal.

An acronym meaning....?
Seeker: I guess he needs consent of his parents right? Demand the parents info as well... so we can let them know what the hell he's doing from time to time :D
Hey this is Padfoots Dad I just ran across this in his history. Man I hate getting in his business. He is only 9 and he really is a good kid. I am going to prohibit him from posting until he is older and learns forum etiquette. Sorry if he disrupted you guys, but on a good note I think he learned a lot here. He got his interest in lucid dreaming from me. In any case I will take care of this.
Thanks
one more thing
"Super Perfundo on the Early Eve of Your Day"
We're very forgiving here, he can come back. We've tried to educate him a bit and if he's willing to learn and listen to us i'm sure it'll work out OK :D
Yea, just make sure he controls his temper. We'll do the same.Go ahead and let him back, forgive and forget. ;)
You guys are pretty cool I might let him back in, but only after I school him on forum etiquette. Heck I might even post, I have been a fan of lucid dreaming for quite awhile. It tough to find that balance between realizing you're dreaming and waking up....but it's damn fun on those rare occasions when it works.
Anyway IF I do let him back in I will post my email address so you can alert if when gets out of control.
That sounds like it could work...
In that case I think there's little much to say but:
WELCOME SLOFUT!!!!! :muffin:
I hope you and all the foot(or fut, whatever you prefer :D ) family can learn the precious art of LDing...
Bah...truthbearer, you did it all wrong.
Welcome Slofut!!
There, thats better. :D
No need to tell his parents, that is their responsibility. By signing the permission form, they know that they need to check up on the on occasion.Quote:

The COPPA act is for the protection of younger members. It is easy for bot's to crawl websites gathering information about hobbies, interests, e-mail and IM addresses. They then start spamming the kids.
I know I would be really upset if my son started to get IMs and e-mails from porno sites.
One time a bot got my YIM address and someone invited me to have cyber sex. I investigated further and found that it was a leader for a porno site.
Because it was so easy to pull kids into this kind of thing, the COPPA act was created.
Again, I applaud Slofut for for keeping an eye on his son. :bravo:
To create another viewpoint on this subject can i disagree....for the better of the subject not just to annoy ppl.
But to a large degree the 'ban it' type rule which just says you can't have it if your too young, too old ect ect...........it is sort of unfair. I mean it is a right to experience much in life and deliver your mind of it's curioseties. For example, lets say in the near future parks get banned because of rapists and murders right, so an uncommon few create a danger in society so the government says right no more parks. Kids now don;t experience this, we think we are safegaurding but all we are doing is limiting the very small enjoyable things in life.
This applies to the boy in here trying to chat, doesnt he deserve to be not kept in the dark about him not being able to and not being able to join. He should make a decision. i mean lets reverse this and im the parent and you are all my children, (hyperthetically) and since there is alot of crap spam around i block this site and many others and limit your experiences of finding information on the web.
In all my point is you may see or experience bad things due to my beliefs, but it would seem true to me hopefully to you as well that an overadbundance of life is truly better than an underabundance.
Ty for reading if you did. Catchya fellas ;)
i think you ban a 9 years old because eventually he has nothing to add to the thread except for "weeeeee" and "wooooooow" and "niceeeeeeeeeeeeee"
so its us you need to protect against mind numbing posts.
ofcourse if the kid wants to learn there's no way to deny him information
what should be done is give him parental counsel and teach him to read alot before he can post nonsense. besides who would like to take responsibilty if something god forbid happens to a 9 years old after trying some techniques or sleep deprivation.
i think the kid must be above 13 in order to even be allowed to read this (or any other adult themed subject) :!:
p.s.
i'm not really sure if it was really a kid or just someone who's really bored.. playing both the kid and his father. :?:
peace
I was thinking the exact same thing koko.Quote:

The difference between the quality of both posts is very large, in style and coherence...I guess if he really wasn't nine he could pull it off, but that would be pretty sad to go through all that trouble to annoy a group of people that really isn't that big...
