A Number Of Questions...
For as long as I can remember, I've had fantastic dreams - the sort which make you want to go to bed, just so you can wake up and think back the following morning. Unlike most (apparently), I'm able to wake up and then go back to sleep, sometimes carrying on with the same dream (or at least a very similar one). I can always remember my dreams, and I feel a lot as if I dream semi-consciously.
It's kinda' lucky that I stumbled accross this place then. :D
I've had a couple of goes with dream books, but I've never really had much luck. I could go on for days recalling past dreams, and I've documented them in the past. The thing is, they don't yell anything obvious to me.
Most interestingly (perhaps) is that I've died twice in my dreams, but I'm still here. I don't know if this is voided in that I've died and turned into a ghost (hence the name?) but the fact remains.
If I was to explain a little, would anybody here be able to give me some kind of insight?
Plus if anybody fancies explaining the concepts of Lucid Dreaming, feel free.
Cheers,
Tom

Welcom Ghost! We have a great explaination on the main page, also, take a look at the tutorials section.
Short answer: Lucid dreaming is the state where you are dreaming and you know that you are dreaming. You just kind of pause and think "Hey wow, this is a dream" From there, you can either chose to follow the dream or attempt to alter it.

Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming, by Stephen Laberge, is a great book to start of with. :D

Welcome. :P
Have you tried using LD techniques such as periodic realty checks or MILD to induce lucidity? Techniques are the best way to go when you have already got a great dream recall. Don't give up!

Cheers guys.
I didn't really know being able to dream properly was something a lot of people could do, and as such I'd never looked into definitions / guides etc. Thanks for the links, I think they've answered my questions.
I can recall a number of times in dreams when I've known I've been dreaming, even telling people in the dream I'm dreaming, and having dreams whilst dreaming... If you get me. :D
I can't say I've done any of the things given as examples in the tutorials section, but hey I can always try next time.
Thanks again. :)
